Join us for a special screening of The Reunion, a film directed by fellow adoptee Dahee Kim. Following the screening, we will host a Q&A and open discussion.

The Reunion follows a 27-year-old Korean American adoptee who travels to Seoul to meet her biological mother for the first time—an encounter that leads to an unexpected and deeply emotional reckoning.

As Dahee Kim’s most ambitious project to date, The Reunion serves as a proof of concept for a forthcoming feature film. The planned feature will continue the story, exploring the complexities of building a relationship with a biological parent, finding community among returning adoptees in Korea, and shedding light on the experiences of young single mothers raising children in Korea.
